From DNA to bioprocess

The curriculum combines rigorous coursework in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, genetic engineering, and bioprocess technology with extensive laboratory training. Students learn modern biotechnological techniques — from DNA isolation and PCR to tissue culture and bioinformatics — building a strong foundation for research or industry careers.

Laboratory Experience

The department maintains a well-equipped laboratory with facilities for basic molecular biology, microbial culture, and bioinformatics exercises. Students complete a substantial project or dissertation in their final year.
