About the DSW Office

Channelling student energy into governance, service, and meaningful action for the College and society.

The office of the Dean Students Welfare (DSW) plays a crucial role in mobilising and guiding the students of the College. Students are encouraged to be a part of College Governance through the agency of the democratically elected Student Council, which holds regular meetings to address student complaints and forwards constructive suggestions to the higher authorities.
The Student Council is advisory in nature and exists primarily for the betterment of the students. General elections are held annually by this office.

Blood Donation Camp — Tribute to the Martyrs of Galwan Valley

A blood donation camp was organised in honour of the Martyrs of Galwan Valley, in which 102 donors donated blood — turning grief into a tangible act of service to the nation.

Memorandum Submitted to the Vice President of India

A memorandum was submitted to Shri Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India, to promote students to the next semester during the COVID-19 pandemic — advocating for student interests at the highest levels.

Distribution of Food to the Needy — Tricity

During the pandemic, students distributed food items to the needy people in the Tricity, ensuring that the College's spirit of seva reached those most affected by the lockdown.

Packed Food for 300+ Migrant Workers

Arranged and distributed packed food for more than 300 migrant workers who were waiting to return to their native places during the lockdown — a small comfort for those on a long, uncertain journey home.
