Programme-wise requirements

General eligibility varies by programme. Here is an overview:

Step by Step

Admission Procedure

  1. Visit the online admission portal and register using a valid email address and phone number
  2. Complete the application form with accurate personal, academic and contact details
  3. Upload scanned copies of the required documents (see list below)
  4. Pay the application fee online
  5. Submit the completed application before the deadline
  6. Track the merit list on the College website / admission portal
  7. If selected, complete the fee payment and document verification within the stipulated time

Documents Required

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Character certificate from the last institution attended
  • Migration certificate (if coming from a different board / university)
  • Reserved category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), if applicable
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Aadhaar card / Government-issued ID proof
  • Bachelor's degree mark sheet and certificate (for PG applicants)

Selection Criteria

Most undergraduate courses admit on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Some postgraduate programmes such as MSc Zoology and MSc Chemistry require the PU-CET (PG) entrance examination conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh — with the College typically giving 50% weightage to the entrance test and 50% to the qualifying examination.
