Powered by SOUL
The College library is fully automated using SOUL (Software for University Libraries) — a UGC-recommended library management system developed by INFLIBNET. SOUL maintains the cataloguing, circulation and reporting backbone of the library; WebOPAC is its public-facing search interface.
How to Search Effectively
- Start with a single keyword — narrow down using author or year filters
- For a known title, search by exact phrase in quotation marks
- For broad reading lists, browse by subject heading
- Note the call number on the result page — this is the location of the book in the library
For Postgraduate & Research Users
WebOPAC is especially useful for project work, dissertation reading lists and literature surveys — allowing systematic searches across the entire library collection from a single screen.
