Duration, eligibility and admission
Duration
MA / MSc / MCom programmes are two years in duration (four semesters). PGDCA is a one-year programme.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university
- Minimum aggregate as prescribed by Panjab University and detailed on each programme page
- For MSc Physics, MSc Chemistry, MSc Zoology and MSc Microbial Biotechnology, admission is through the PU-CET (PG) entrance examination conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh
- For MSc Information Technology, eligibility includes BCA / BE / BTech in Computer Science or Information Technology, BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with Mathematics, or equivalent
Admission Procedure
For programmes requiring an entrance test, candidates must register and appear for the PU-CET (PG). For merit-based programmes, admission is through the College's online admission portal. The College typically gives 50% weightage to the entrance test and 50% to the qualifying examination, wherever applicable.
