About the Office

Supporting our international students from arrival to graduation — in academics, culture, and community.

The office of Foreign Students Welfare looks after the welfare of International Students at the College. In 2022, the College enrolled 54 foreign students — 53 from Afghanistan and one from Ghana — in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 52 students are sponsored by ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) and 2 students are studying on a self-finance basis. Our international students participate actively in national and international conferences, seminars and debate competitions.

The College team of foreign students from Afghanistan represented the College at the WOSY (World Organisation of Students & Youth) International Conference, held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha in January 2019 — carrying the College's flag onto an international stage.
