The Office of the Registrar — Academics oversees the planning and conduct of the Annual Prize Distribution Function and the Annual Convocation — the two ceremonial events at which Sri Guru Gobind Singh College honours its students for academic accomplishment, co-curricular contribution and the formal completion of their degrees.

Activity B

The formal conferment of degrees.

The Annual Convocation is the College's flagship academic ceremony — held annually in March/April, marking the successful completion of the academic journey of its graduating students.

At this ceremony, the College formally confers degrees upon First Division Holder students of its undergraduate and postgraduate classes, in recognition of their academic accomplishment.

Coordination The Office of the Registrar — Academics coordinates the planning and conduct of the Convocation in association with the College administration, the academic departments, and the affiliating Panjab University.
