Every endeavour is made to provide personalised reference service from the library's extensive collection to the end users of the college — from circulation and reference, to e-resources, current awareness alerts and inter-library loans.

Book Bank Section

The library operates a dedicated Book Bank Section. Meritorious and needy students are provided with books for the full academic session.

CD-ROM Resources

CD-ROMs covering literature and various other subjects are available for access in the Periodicals Section of the library.

Sikh Studies Corner

A special corner has been dedicated to Sikh Studies, housing relevant works for students and researchers in the field.

Current Awareness Service

Heads of departments and faculty are regularly apprised of newly acquired books and resources added to the library.

Broadband Internet

A broadband internet facility has been made available for the faculty members of the college.

Need help finding a resource?

The reference desk is staffed during library hours and is the right place for any query — from locating a book to formulating a literature search. Faculty and postgraduate students undertaking research are encouraged to consult the staff for guidance on accessing DELNET, N-LIST and other e-resources.

Suggestion box — Suggestions for new books, journals or service improvements are welcome at any time. A suggestion box is placed near the issue counter, and email suggestions can be addressed to the Librarian.
