The Controller of Examinations has released the final date sheet for May 2026 semester-end examinations. Students are advised to download their admit cards from the university portal at least seven days before the commencement of examinations.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College was established in 1966 as a tricentennial memorial to the Tenth Guru of the Sikhs — Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji — the great saint-soldier and a scholar par excellence. The foundation stone was laid by the then Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, on August 29, 1963.
